I am the husband of Mary and together we are the parents of six home schooled children ranging from 12 to 24 years of age. we reside in Jackson, Mississippi.
I am Professor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Wesley Biblical Seminary, founding pastor of DaySpring Community Church, a contributing columnist for the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, political analyst for WAPT-TV, chaplain at the Hinds County Detention Center and am active in pro-life ministries.
I am a native of Great Bend, Kansas and received my BA, MA and PhD degrees from the University of Kansas and his M.Div. from Asbury Seminary. I am also the author of several books.
